WHEN AND
WHERE DOES THE APPLE USER GROUP MEET?
The APPLE USER GROUP meets on the third Saturday morning of
every Month from September through May.
The Apple Macintosh User Group meetings have moved to Community Covenant Church at 2136 McCullam Ave. This new location has wireless Internet and more seating room!
Directions: Turn off of Airport Rd. onto Wilbur towards Denali State Bank, then take an immediate right onto McCullam Ave. Drive to the end - the church is on the right.
Meetings are from 10 AM till Noon - which allows time for the formal presentations, as well as time for the informal exchange of ideas and one on one interaction with other club members.
Coffee and Donuts are provided by the club.
WHAT HAPPENS AT THE MEETINGS?
- MEETING PROGRAM:
- Presentation(s): one or two different topics are
presented for about 60 minutes each.
- Topics are suggested and presented by an experienced
club member or other expert from the MAC community.
- Typical programs cover some aspect of:
- Mac OS X basics
- Troubleshooting techniques.
- Software demos - on popular software and current
updates.
- Hardware demos - such as... How to Burn a CD. How
to Network your computer using TCP IP. Networking a Mac with a PC.
Back-up hardware, etc.
- THE ASK-IT BASKET: Write up
your Mac questions...
- Get your questions answered by members who have
experienced the same problems.
- INFORMAL DISCUSSION WITH OTHER MAC

The subject of the program(s) generally does not become available for
until the month of the meeting. Program details will be noted in the news section of the front page as they
become available.
